Behind the Glass
Hi there! I'm Amy, the maker behind the stained glass art at 462 Glassworks.
My interest for stained glass sparked when scrolling through Instagram, seeing modern stained glass designs pop up on my feed. I love learning new things, so I started researching and watching tutorials about stained glass online. I was instantly hooked and wanted to start practicing and making! I was learning and practicing stained glass for about 6 months when I decided to start selling my work online.
I started my own business in October of 2019 and named it 462 Glassworks, inspired by my home, where everything started for my small glass business and the location for my studio!
My inspiration and themes for my work revolve around nature, gardening, and the night sky. Having a background in graphic design has also inspired certain processes, geometry, and line work.
